For the past 10+ years we have partnered with the University of Michigan-West, to provide audio and visual support for their annual Gala.

While 2023’s Gala focused on supporting groundbreaking cardiovascular treatments, in 2024, nearly 1,000 community champions celebrated the culture of nursing excellence at UM Health-West.

Aria Show Technology partnered with Captus Creative to bring the theme of Vitality to life this year, by creating a one-of-a-kind light and audio experience. The event was held in the Exhibit Hall of DeVos Place which is an incredible space in Grand Rapids Michigan to hold an event, but because of the expansive space, audio was a bit of a challenge. To provide the best audio experience for all attendees we added audio delay speaker hangs so that no one audio source needed to be turned up to be able to be heard in the back of the room. By adding the delay audio hangs we reduced the area that any one audio speaker needed to cover and could reduce the volume of all the speakers reducing the amount of reverb or echo heard in the room. This created better intelligibility and a better overall audio sound level without blasting out the front rows and creating a bunch of reverb in the room.
