The Economic Club of Grand Rapids is an association of individuals interested in, and contributing to, the growing economic health of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area. Each year they host an annual dinner with high-profile speakers. This year the guest of honor was non-other than Oprah Winfrey!

We once again had the privilege of partnering with KBO Group, to support this amazing event with full event services, including stage set-up, overall event experience creation, audio and video services – all at an executive level appropriate for such a prominent guest of honor! The event posed a few unique challenges – with a crowd of over 3,000 people it was critical that all attendees had an unobstructed view of the stage, but we needed to do this without increasing the budget. It was a tall order (pun intended) but the team installed 32 foot wide, no delay projection screens to ensure all everyone had the most amazing view.
Full production audio was the name of the game, as all event music was live, in real time by the phenomenal Grand Rapids Symphony! Only the best acoustics would do.
